Does anyone know please?
I don't have a password set, yet i have to first click a silly photo, then the log in page before reaching my desktop.

I'm not sure why it's doing that. On my laptop there's a non-password, guest account and if anyone has used it any subsequent startup will go straight into the desktop bypassing the login screen. In fact I find it a bit of a pain because you have to then manually log out of that account and log in to one of the password enabled accounts to stop it from doing it.0

It's a known issue with guest account enabled
Go here :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\ClearAutologon]
"Enabled"=dword:000000010 -
Must admit I miss the face sign in option when Im not on my Surface.
Having to log in with a keyboard is a pain in comparison0 -
^^ Get yourself an Intel Realsense camera and do it on your computer0

1) Set a password on your account.
2) Click on Start Button, select Run and type netplwiz in the box.
3) Select your account in the next window and untick the box highlighted in the picture below.
4) Click Apply, enter the password you created in the dialogue box that pops up then OK. Your computer will now automatically log onto that account when it starts up.0 -
