Mrsp - you can shuffle that way, or manually do it via after transfers which arrive within minutes. I favour the faster transfers approach and box them all off in a 10 min period. So...
FD to TSB1, TO TSB 2, TO Halifax 1, to Halifax 2, to Halifax 3, to coop/Yorkshire, then back to FD.

So it doesn't have to stay in there for more than a minute for it to count? I thought there'd be a minimum amount of time it would have to stay in there.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was accepted for the account but I think I have to go and show them proof of ID or something.

I'd of thought the same, that they would not be happy with transfers in and out - good going SJ!

For once the banks systems work in "our" favour :j

Same goes for d/d coming out of account - going under limit to get top interest on account, then monies credited to account same day - seems they take balance of account at end of day, so even if you go "under" - its not counted, if money goes in after - but same day :j

I'm not expecting halifax to keep paying the rewards, but each month they do is a bonus. I also use 2 tesco savings accounts to fulfil the direct debits, and with regards to halifax accounts they sweep on the £5's!

£6.37 weekly TT pot transferred to mortgage this morning. The weekly OP of the pot is proving very effective method and seems to between £4.50 and £6.50 each week.

This morning I return to officiating so will make £25 cash. Im taking DS1 and his friend to a trampolining place this afternoon so that cash will pay for it nicely with snacks/drinks too. It may also squeeze to a treat lunch in work this week!

Watch out on this one - twice now I've gotten hit with fees for being "overdrawn" even though by end of day the balance is positive.

Clyde$dale (and probably Y0rkshire, as they're linked) only counts it if the balance is positive by 2:30pm. :(

Great warning. I'm ultra cautious that I don't get hit with any charges, probably why I favour the manual faster payments technique!

I did "remark = moan" about this one to my mortgage advisor, since all d/d's came out before my salary appeared in account albeit paid in/out - all in same day. That's when he told me, they take balance at close of business of that day, so didn't count if I went "under" :rotfl:my limit to get top interest :rotfl:

Of course, don't need to worry about that now as i'm - well under :o till I get EF back up to scratch :)

Although it has to be said C1ydesd@1e would be one to watch - it took them 2 Months :( for them to "switch" my account that everybody knows takes 7 Days As soon as I have my bonus - I'm off :D

TSB were fab about getting me my £100 switch reward. However I am also supposed to be getting 5% on up to £100 of contactless payments each month and I don't think I've had that. I may have to go and pop in and ask.
