I'm going to nurse my elderly mother and need to be on WiFi to communicate with my siblings and family for the duration

Can I pay for one month only of WiFi without getting into a yearly contract?
Does anyone know the cheapest that's reliable and doesn't have hidden tricks?
Thanks

Can't help directly, but could you piggy back on a neighbour's wifi for that period, which is what I did when I moved back into my house after years away? Obviously you don't take the mick..

Do you have enough mobile data where you could just create a wifi hot-spot with your phone?

At your mother's home? If so does she pay for broadband even though not using it?

I'd go for a pay as you go bundle and a cheap or spare android phone to create a hotspot.

Now TV does monthly broadband, you aren't tied in to a yearly contract. It's what I have as I am living in rented accommodation and apart from the first year of the tenancy can be ejected at 2 months notice so it's easier.
