Hi,
One of the eligibility conditions for tax-free childcare are that neither parent should earn more than 100k. Please could someone tell me if that figure is "gross salary minus pension contributions" or just gross earnings?

As far as I can see it’s adjusted net income see https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare and Adjusted net income https://www.gov.uk/guidance/adjusted-net-income
It appears that gross pension contributions are allowed as deductions.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
