ASUS - faulty laptop, zero customer service

My son bought an expensive Asus laptop in March 2019 from an online retailer called Box. He paid with his debit card.

In September 2019 it failed to turn on. So he contacted Box, who referred him to Asus. They have a 3rd party repairs sub contractor, who collected the laptop by courier and supposedly changed the motherboard and fixed it. A week later it was returned to my son and although it switched on, it wouldn't boot up. He immediately called the 3rd party contractor who again collected the laptop but this time had the laptop for a MONTH, systematically changing 4 parts until they 'fixed' the problem.

During this month of waiting he attempted to speak to someone in Asus to show his dissatisfaction and they have no telephone contact numbers. He emailed and got standard replies and even sent 2 registered letters to the UK CEO of Asus, which were signed for but never responded to.

The laptop has now gone faulty again and it won't switch on, he just wants his money back! Has anyone got any ideas of where to start as Asus literally do not respond to or answer any correspondence?

Thanks in advance.

You need to return to box and ask for a full refund. If they dont help, then LBA them. You can also copy in your credit card and claim on that if needed. Its down to box to repair and their responsibilty.

Note OP clearly states DEBIT CARD. As such due to it not being faulty when bought, there is no chargeback right.
