  • Good morning and it is payday:j, so I need to pay some bills and do a money shuffle later after work.

Yesterday was a low spend day of £6 in Mr T on a small top up shop but this has put me over my grocery budget by £1:mad:. have redeemed a £10 amazon voucher so when that arrives I will do a amazon pantry order.
Looked into amazing school trip for DS which will be in 18mths time, I can see all the benefits to going to Africa and seeing a different way of life and giving something back just the eye watering cost of £2500, need to make a decision as deposit needs to be paid soon.

Today should also be a low spend day just need £2 for school Easter charity thing which I have scraped together from change around the house.

Yay to a nice new shiny diary, have subscribed (of course :)) and glad you seem in good form.

Yep, teenagers are expensive and often grumpy ...:( but when they are charming it is wonderful :rotfl:

Thanks Brizzle, agree with you regarding teenagers they cost a fortune, but are worth it when you get those glimmers of loveliness.

  • Morning, first day of the Easter hols and i'm still awake at 6am:mad:.

We are having a quiet day at home today as the rest of the weekend is taken up visiting relatives, so plans for today are housework, tidying the garage:eek: and washing. I need to make some soup for lunches over the weekend and will also make some chocolate crispie cakes as I found a couple of bars of chocolate in a drawer hidden under the tea towels which I had forgotten about:rotfl:. All meals to come from stores today which will hopefully mean a NSD,bacon sandwich for breakfast, soup for lunch and sweet and sour chicken and noodles for tea. Fruit, crumpets and crispie cakes for snacks.

Picked up DD from a party last night, popped into Mr s on the way to pick up some bits to see us through the weekend which hopefully means I don't need to do a big shop until next week, spent £21, also bought a lovely blue dress which was half price and then had another 25% so cost £8.25 :D.

  • Afternoon, quick update before we pop over to visit in laws.

Nipped into town this morning with DH as he wanted his hair cutting, ended up spending money on hair dye in boots £6 and £1 on a book in the charity shop. Then nipped into b00ths for more milk and bread as we seem to going through loads, also bought flowers for MiL so £14 spent. Home for lunch HM carrot and lentil soup and soda bread, we are having tea at MiL.
