I'm feeling really ashamed of myself having been AWOL for so long.

Having started off so well at the beginning of the year I fell off the band wagon let life get in the way and had some expensive unplanned purchases - new fridge freezer, and new washer dryer (paid out right) within a month of each other due old ones breaking down. Been on a few holidays, stopped doing my spreadsheets and hey hoy surprise surprise what do you know it's all went downhill fast! To date I've only have only cleared £972 off my £2800 target.

I'm not going to be in a position to meet my original target by the end of the year, so will carry it into 2020! I've given myself a kick up the butt and will see what I can do before the end of the year. I'm hoping to knock off at least another £200.

The only plus is that I've saved more than I thought in my VSP towards Xmas and have purchased a lot of my Xmas presents already.

A massive well done to all of you who have stuck with it, so nice to read all the great progress you're making, it's motivated me to get cracking again!

Thanks Purplemumof2. I'm just cross with myself, I was so motivated by this thread (and still am) but stopped chipping away at it. I am pleased I didn't put the cost of the appliances around £900 on my card (I wld have done previously).
