Two NTE5C Master Sockets

I've installed CAT5e cabling from one corner of the house to the opposite corner (lounge to office) via loft and used two NTE5C master sockets as per image below.
I know this isn't the accepted norm and expect to get shouted at, certainly not something a telephone engineer would ever recommend but I decided to do this because it provides a secondary location for my router and what I see as a really neat telephone/broadband solution.
It is working fine but I am paranoid there might be some issue I am unaware of regarding things like the extra ring capacitor and bell wire filter in the secondary master socket's backplate.
The ADSL router's speed does drop every few days and needs a reboot to get back to full speed but to be fair it also did this on the netgear powerline adapters I was using prior to changing over and running this dedicated CAT5e setup, so that's not something new caused by this new arrangement that I have never experienced before.
Can someone who really knows about these things please tell me why this is a bad idea and what problems it might cause?

if you want to just plug a modem in, use one of these rj11 face plate

Then connect it to terminals A & B in the master socket. (ideally on the front flap)
I can't think of anything really bad.
Have you got a phone plugged into it to in the office?
Do you get bell chip when dialing ? (if yes, that's because the bell wire pin 3 isn't connected) though ppl will claim this slows BB
If they are old master sockets, which have a lightning suppressor, these can slow things and could be cut out0 -

The NTE5C mk2 is what they are, as far as I'm aware that's the latest version of BT master socket. The backplate is plastic weld sealed but I've watched videos of a teardown so I know what's in there.
I currently have both a telephone and the router connected at the secondary master socket and everything appears to be working perfectly (other than the broadband speed drop after several days I mentioned above)
I haven't yet obtained a second phone for the lounge, that would then make two phones and one router in the circuit entire.
The router will only ever be in one location or the other, almost always the office. They do Mk3 (and even 4 & 5 I think)
The lightening thing is normally sticking out the back, so it's easy to see without taking it apart
Is your really the same as in the picture?

The plug in 5c VDSL faceplate with integrated micro filter is mk 4, I'm not aware of any NTE 5C BT master socket backplates above mk2.
5C replaced the 5A sockets around 2016 afaik
