This year I tried the KM method of folding my summer tops. It worked so well that I've done the same with winter jumpers and long-sleeved tee-shirts.
Colour-coded in drawers and 'standing up', rather than stacked, it's easy to see what's there.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Went to our local big town for the first time at the weekend. Used the park and ride bus so we didn't have the aggro of trying to find somewhere to park. I desperately needed some new bras. Tried on about 8, of which only 1 was a good fit. Came as a multibuy pack of black and white. Bought another pair as well whilst I was there. I loathe shopping for bras. Also got some new knickers. My previous purchase were a mistake and will be going in the ragbag now I've got better replacements. It's not often I get rid of clothing that's still got life in it. Also bought a couple of pairs of jeans from Debenhams who are the only stockists of jeans that fit me. Don't need new ones yet, but I'm concerned if Debenhams go pop, where will I buy them in future. They have gone into stock.
A few things for the ragbag, and OH took some rubbish to the tip. Small progress.
On the upside, our water is now begining to feel softer and I can feel the difference when I wash my hair.Make £2024 in 2024

I have so much admin to deal with now. I am usually pretty much on the ball, dealing with everything as it comes in, but my dds are going to bed a little later now that they are older, and my parents were here for 10 days, so I am behind. I also have some admin to do where I have to look through old binders: private health insurance number from last year, which I threw out when I left my former employer, and all the drawings pertaining to former changes to our house for the architect where we hope to sign our renovation contract next week. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590

Managed to sell my old gas hob for a nominal amount on FB. Its in good condition and perfectly serviceable for a good few years so pleased someone else will get the use of it.

Last night I spent two hours doing admin; I'm almost caught up now. I really hope to be reimbursed some money from the private health insurance from my previous employer, but the whole process is very unclear.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590

Ds3 and I had quick look in his bedroom and discarded 2 games (1 to CS, 1 with missing pieces to recycling/ bin) and around a dozen and a half books - most were activity style ones and have gone for recycling. 3 to CS pile :TI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200

I have a neat row of five large carrier bags, neatly packed with goods, in a row at the foot of my bed. Just brought one forward to make sure that I take it with me when I go shopping tomorrow - will be dropping it off at the charity shop. It will take many days to get them all out of here, but I am already looking forward to the space.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Some underwear collapsed when I was on holiday and the trainers I was wearing may have to be relegated to gardening, as the gardening ones have sprung a leak. I'm going to cut the top of one of the gardening shoes to get a piece of black leaher- I can use it to keep the strap of my handbag in order, aided by some superglue.
I went to a little design class using seaglass, which I absolutely love - but of course its very rare. Remembered that I have a glass bowl from my childhood sitting out in the garden. Its cracked, badly, but I couldn't throw it away. Now, I can put some goggles on and chip it up, then put it in a container of some sort over winter with some slate chips, stir it once a day or something, and see if I can make my own sea glass
The shoes I took on holibob to wear with a dress ("formal" wear requested, I trot this dress out every do I go to, and have for the last 6 years ) well, those shoes are **agony** to wear now, my feet have spread or something. To the cs they go.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
A Le Parf@it glass storage jar drew blood this morning, I cut my thumb on a hitherto-unseen large crescent-shaped slice off the rim which I had not seen before. Bit of a concern where the missing bit went, and when, but I am not about to tear my kitchen apart looking for it.
Yes, I could have turned the metal collar around which would have brought the damaged bit around the back, not on the bit I am opening, but I thought that it would probably lead to another cut at some future point. It's now in the recycling bin.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
