We have a what's irritating you thread, and I think we need a thread for things that have made us smile, etc.

Me - well, we have a puppy who is now 8 months. I let her out this morning and was hoping to keep the door open for her to come in. But it was too windy. I was stood by the door waiting for her, expecting to see her come down the steps.

I then heard a tap at the door. She'd come down the steps, which I hadn't seen and tapped to be let in. She also taps to go out.

I put my warm hat on before leaving the house today. A few seconds looking a burke, a good hour with cosy ears.

News just made me smile (and cry).
Lady taking her shirt off to pick up a koala caught up in bushfires. She then doused it in water to cool its burns before it was taken to a rescue centre.

Puttered into Sainburys, saw a gadget I had been mildly yearning for & got the blinking app, the gadget (a terrabyte of memory for points & a tenner!), and deleted the app.
Now backing up decades of family photos!

Lidl has the jars of lumpfish roe in, 2.99 for an acceptably credible caviar. Acquizzed a couple, one to cosset my mum with & one as a festive treat.

But you will tow Dad to the poling station, yes? Then to the pub for a restorative beverage, and something for yourself?

Hurrah! Exhuming a largely forgotten crate under the stairs, searching for a festive gift bottle, I Found The Angostura! That saved me 10, so sis is getting a nicer bottle than I might otherwise have parted with.

Listening to Feedback on the radio last night. The announcer said the programme was Brexit free!
Now just have to grit my teeth for a few more weeks till the election is over so that the channels wont be filled with politicians spouting what miracles they are going to achieve. I think there are 2 chances of that, slim and none and slim has gone away for the winter.

Baldy man's Hamlet ad, I keep it on my favourites, it always makes me smile, better than Prozac.
