    yep, the receipt from Lastminute said that the Travel company would ring within 1 working day to confirm the booking and credit card cv2 number....

    that's why i'm not booking anything else as yet :cool:

    they have allocated funds from my credit card though, fingers crossed

    to be fair it could just be a standard line attached to all bookings, i've used them before for hotels and was told they'd take the money straight away, they didn't and i paid the hotel direct on departure so i never take too much notice of what they put at the bottom of confirmations. I'll give them a ring late tomorrow if i've heard nothing

    Really Worried now....Rang last minute today they found my booking and said it was all confirmed and I will receieve letter tomorrow in the post, but still no money taken from my card :(
    I would love to be a Travel Agent :j

    seconded, that is very good news and is better than i thought....

    you won't see any money appear on a statement for a couple of days, what you might see is the money allocated ie if your CC limit if £5000, balance is £500, your 'available funds' would be £4500, if they've allocated £800 for example then your available funds would only be £3700

    I've just booked the Crazy Reindeer for 7 nights, flying from Gatwick with dh, dd, ds and the cost is £598 for the 4 of us. Can't believe it, what a fantastic deal. Also used topcashback so hopefully in line for cashback too. Just worried about the best way to book the various trips and what to wear as it will be so cold.
