BT Upgrade

Been offered these by BT:
Unlimited Superfast Fibre Upgrade £52.49 month or
Superfast Fibre Plus £54.99 month.
Seems a bit steep. Anyone know of any better offers please, thanks.

Have you checked on any comparison websites?

  • I renewed by Fast Fibre deal with BT last month for £31.99 pm on an 18 month contract, with a free Google Home Hub and a £50 Cashcard thrown in.

Thank you everyone. I really do need to upgrade. Been on the same plan and using the same hub for over 12 years.

We were offered the same deals as the OP and are in a similar circumstance. Called them up but they weren't going to offer much of a discount (about £5 a month off), in fact their first offer was actually more than we are paying at present! Think we are going to jump to another provider when we go out of contract next month. BT appear to be subsidising their football TV rights by those taking their broadband and calls packages as we have seen steep prices rises for the last couple of years while the speed has dropped due to the cabinet being filled up with connections.

When you renew get everything you can best deal etc. then see if they will throw in a new hub for free. Tell them how old your hub is! I asked and got a free hub a few times in past renewals.

Check to see if you are in a fibre enabled area with BT as we aren't so we get speeds of 0.64 to 5mbs

That is ridiculous. If they cannot offer a maximum of £30 per month including line rental, just change provider. Who else is available in your location?

If they can offer that and you can get £100 worth of cashback and vouchers, you should get yourself a better deal.
