Where have we mislaid our remote control to?

Oh well, it has cost me about a tenner today to send off for a replacement remote control for our bedroom tv. If the other one turns up, it will be quite handy to have one on both sides of our double bed, so no real harm done.
The thing is, though, where the blazes has it gone to?
We now have the most immaculately clean & tidy bedroom, but still no sign of it & we are mystified as to where it could have gone to! Here's where we've checked:

We now have the most immaculately clean & tidy bedroom, but still no sign of it & we are mystified as to where it could have gone to! Here's where we've checked:
- the compost bin
- the recycling bin - last emptied the day before we lost it
- the bin liners in the bin - last emptied days before we lost it
- behind & under the bed
- behind & under every other piece of furniture in the bedroom
- in all the bedroom drawers
- in the spare bedroom, in case we accidentally took it in there
- dressing gown pockets
- behind the radiator
- inside the duvet cover
- the linen basket
- on the windowsill, and even on the outside windowsill
would've . . . could've . . . should've . . .

It's not in the bedroom. It's fallen down between the seat cushions on the sofa. Yes, I know you definitely didn't have it there, but that's where it's hiding.
If not, stand and say 'St Anthony, St Anthony return that which is mine'. Then go and look PROPERLY at the first place that springs to mind. Rarely fails .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0"Do what others won't early in life so you can do what others can't later in life"0 -
What bedroom furniture have you got that it could have slipped down behind?
You've checked the drawers, but did you take out the drawers and check the space underneath them?0 -
@Zuzel - just off to look in the sock drawers - very few odd socks as we’re quite organised - probably why we’re ‘miffed at the ‘loss of control’. Oh my. Think that was a joke.
Some other hilarious answers to my daft question but can’t summon up the energy to reply now. Tomorrow. Have a good evening.

Wow, maybe you have a ghosti that hides remotes.
Seriously, call your remote number with your mobile, then listen with ear to ground.
Good luck.0
