  • Thanks for tips about having blood taken. I have problems too.
Maman those trousers are expensive but lovely. Hope they go on sale! With weather unsettled I wouldn!!!8217;t be surprised if shops don!!!8217;t end up with too much stock. Bit like all the shelves of Easter tack.
My physio says that when she is people watching she is constantly noticing their poor posture and so on. More people diagnosing than people watching. Ha.

So pleased that your meal was saved sugarbaby. It must say something that I thought of the dinner never mind that you were worn out by it!:o

That's a very good point flo. I'll keep an eye out for reductions. They did the culottes in black as well but the bottle green was different although sometimes colours get reduced before or more than basics.:)

 That's one of LL's favourite words. never fails to make me sit up straight at my keyboard!:D

I don't know whether it's because I loathed being fat and proved to myself that it's not inevitable but I always notice people who waddle along.:o

Thanks for the comments about my green dress. I've given it a good press this morning so it's all ready to go. I'm pleased to have made the decision as the last thing I wanted was to have a dress hanging in the wardrobe that I'd never wear. It'll be the third outing for the green one. As it only cost £25 in the sale, I'm already down to about £8 per wear!:D

    Hello everyone..,

Maman I think your green dress is lovely. Such an unusual colour too, bet you won't see anyone else wearing that colour.

Well I've worked myself to a standstill, thought some of the paintwork was looking a bit tired and noticed a few scuff marks on the walls so got the paintbrushes ot and got stuck in.

Had an offer yesterday, but I though it was too low so I declined. Have got more viewings booked for Later in the week.

Need to do some college work either tonight or tomorrow. Other than that no real news.

    Hope all are well.

Thanks for posting LL, I wondered where you'd got to.:)

With all that painting, your home is going to be so fab you won't want to move.:D

I extended my people watching hobby to house watching this week!;) At the weekend I did some leafleting in my road and noticed that 3 houses were for sale. This is highly unusual for here as homes don't go on the market often. So when I got back I just had to look up the details online. I wasn't really looking at prices although it's good to know. What interested me was what other people have done to essentially similar houses. It's always good to pinch ideas.:)

The leafleting also gave me some exercise as our break last week and a meeting last night means I've missed dancing. I was very polite and traipsed up and down every garden path rather than cut across lawns. Postmen must be very fit!:)

It's horribly wet and miserable here but hanging on to the hope that it WILL get better towards the weekend!:D

Still here.....just been a tad busy.

College work done, house nice and tidy. Meat in slow cooker for an early meal. Veg all prepped. Get me, I am so organised these days...... must be all that Marie Kondo.

Yes it's fascinating how people personalise their homes. I am off to see a house tomorrow. Just in case I get an offer soon. TBH although I do want to sell I am in no tearing hurry. The house is lovely now and I'm warm and cosy. I am quite happy to stay a while longer.:D

Dreadful mornjng here but the sun has come out and it's drying up. I think the forecast looks reasonable for the weekend. Hope so I've got a couple of outings booked. If it's half decent tomorrow I would like to go for browse round the shops after the house viewing.

I have marked a couple of bargains in eBay......hopefully will bid on them.

Other than that no real news.....hope everyone is well and keeping up the fabbing.

    Hello Ladies,

On Tuesday I was walking on my Estate to the bus stop, to go to Karaoke, when my right foot seemed to turn inwards slightly as I put my foot down and I lost my footing and fell over. So undignified! :o I was badly winded and my right knee and the right side of my body took the impact. :( I had to grab onto a concrete bollard to drag myself back to my feet. I dusted myself down and even though I had grazed my right knee, I was not bleeding anywhere, so I resumed my walk to the bus stop at an even slower pace because I was limping.

I had a good evening at Karaoke. I sang 4 songs

    1. Fever by Peggy Lee

    2. Return to Sender by Elvis

    3. Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You by Andy Williams

    4. Dream Lover by Bobby Darin

My son and I went for a 2 course Nigerian meal with a cocktail each last night. It was certainly excellent value for money because I had only paid £17.85 for the Groupon a couple of month's ago. :DWe were both trying Nigerian food for the 1st time and we enjoyed the highly seasoned and spicy food. :D

I am having a quiet day at home today even though the sun is shining in London, as I need to catch up on my lack of sleep last night.

Sorry to hear about your fall sugarbaby but hopefully it's mostly your pride that was hurt and no lasting damage.:)

It seems an age since you posted about songs from karaoke. I'm taking that as a good sign that your strength is returning.:)

Delighted to say that the sun is shining and weather improving by the day. DH and I just walked to the polling station. It's a beautiful evening so all set for the wedding on Saturday.

I had a good fabbing session this morning and used a little bit of fake tan for the first time this year. I thought it would make my arms look a little better for my sleeveless dress and, although I'll wear tights for the ceremony, I might go bare legged in the evening.

We're staying over Friday and Saturday evening and socialising with family plus it's by the seaside so hoping for a stroll or two.

Hope everyone has something nice planned for the Bank Holiday weekend.:)

Chanie, no lasting damage, just a couple of bruises on my back and the weird lump under the graze on my right knee :)

    Good afternoon lovely ladies....

SUgarbaby.....hope you are fully recovered from your fall. Nasty. Good to see that you are singing again.

Maman...... Before I forget I hope you have a lovely time at the wedding. I think I shall take a leaf out of your book and get busy with the fake tan., although I still have a nice colour from my trip. I am got out on Sunday and if the weather is going to be hot and sunny like they predict the. It would be nice to wear a sleeveless dress and go bare legged.

I've been busy shampooing carpets today.....I am absolutely shattered now. Cook dinner and then relax.

Hope you all Have a lovely weekend.
