Days Out 2 4 1 tickets

Hi

does anyone know if there are any tricks for these offers
daysoutguide.co.uk

eg can you buy a 1 stop train ticket to get them to work or does it have to be a longer journey?

Thanks

Yes. I haven't made use of these offers for a couple of years now but you alway used to be able to just buy a one stop ticket (or rather two - both the person paying and the one getting in free need one).

If a particular destination is required it should be specified as part of the offer details. I think it does need to be a paper ticket with the 'crows feet' rail logo.

There has been some discussion in the past over on the UK days out board (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=80) about the cheapest trip within London that covers you for the London offers but I can't remember what it is I'm afraid ( we usually travel to London by train anyhow.

Note that if you have a return ticket you can show both parts in order to use the offer for he days between the outward and return travel.
