Its time I got up to date with weekly miles. Having been in Corfu for two weeks and struggling to get many steps in due to the heat, (I did try!) Im not sure where I am in the big scheme of things so here are my missing weeks.

    39.31

    39.37

    34.28

    39.45

    40.57

    Total to add 192.98 miles

That brings me to a total for the yar so far of 872.72 miles. Bit disappointed as we are half way through the year and so am below where I should be. Just shows I need to up my game a bit. It should be possible to do though. I love a challenge.

To be on target, I need 750 miles by the end of June. So far, I am running (or walking) at 777 miles, so I have plenty of banked miles if I need them later in the year.

It's a tall order but if I can do 85 miles this week I will break the 2000 for the first 6 months.

Not off to a good start today though, only 10.5 miles, the sunshine and heat got to me a bit :o

Amazing what a bit of effort does..:D

Best week I've had for a long while 55.81 miles. :j

If only I could keep that up, I would soon make up my deficit.

    Agree :T :T :T

I walk with a group on Thursdays and at 58, I'm the 'baby' of the group, most are into their 70s and 80s. It's great to see their determination to get out there every week no matter what the weather. As we always walk at the pace of the slowest member of the group, it can be a bit frustrating for those that want to stride out but all things aside, they are a great bunch of men & women and the conversation is always bright & bubbly.
