Re the fruit, its not just the kids... dh squeezed all the satsumas tonight and put one on top of the food recycling bin (on top, not in!) and said that one will have to go as its too soft, not eating that! I then peeled it, threw out the one segment that was icky and split the rest into the kids dessert (a few left over grapes halved, half a banana each with a yogurt, they both said it was lovely!
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Sounds lovely! Don't get what's up with balancing the villan on top of the scraps box though. I won't say it but I'm thinking it:rotfl:

    Hi All

It's really unpleasantly cold today. Bone chilling, the sort that goes right through you. Feel like hunkering down but, you know....Life goes on.

    Wealth

    * Payday shuffle. £50 to new pot. £160 off CC. Now at 43% repaid since start of 2017.

    * Checked both sets of banking. Might need to poke new client...

    * The big one!! Phone rang mid morning. Location agency with an excellent enquiry. I have the dates free. The rate was amazing. They are going to stick it all on an email! If this comes off it would pay for half my big accountants bill or my landlords buildings insurance in one hit. All for one mornings work. Also represents 26th enquiry since start of Jan.

    * OH complained to NEXT about a set of Christmas clothes that have basically fallen apart. They are sending him £15 back.

    Health

    * DD is mildly sick with a cold. But boy do we know about it. Bless her she is so clingy. I can't leave the room for a second without her bursting into tears. I picked the wrong day to be doing bed changing and laundry arranging. When I was trying to hear what the Location Agent was saying on the phone she was trailing me round the house in hysterics like a bad scene from Benny Hill. Picking her up didn't help as I then couldn't hear the phone. Poor girl is now napping in a fairly snotty snivelly way. Calpol is our friend today.

    Organisation

    * Changed both the big beds.

    * Two loads through the washing machine.

    * All dry washing away.

    * Sorted out dinner for tonight. Asparagus and Chicken pie for us, pizza for DS. All of us can have jacket potatoes too.

    Bob

Thanks for reminding me Bob, DS4 got NEXT pyjamas for Christmas, after one night there was a most disturbing hole in the crotch. It could have stopped traffic. Just complained online. Will see what happens.

So far we've had good results both times we complained. I had two tops that stretched after one wear, simple cotton long sleeved ones that should really wash and wear for a year. They refunded me immediately and then same with DH.

It's odd because NEXT baby wear seems bullet proof. Have had a few bits for DD and it washes really well.
