Selling my Car
I want to sell my old car. I've bought another and my insurance has been moved to that one. Because there's no insurance on the old one now I've sorned it as legally required to do.
However, how can i sell my old car if no one can test drive it as it's not taxed or insured. Can't even pump up the tyres as can't get it to the garage.
Do I really have to fork out a hefty tax and insurance dividend every time someone comes to view it? How do people go about selling cars as I'm sure I'm not the only one in this position? Can you buy daily insurance?

Ask your insurer - they will usually cover both cars for a few weeks while you try to sell. There's no avoiding tax.
As for the tyres - footpump? Compressor?0 -
Stick it in the local car auctions with a realistic reserve.0

Stick it in the local car auctions with a realistic reserve.
Depending on what it's worth the auction may not allow a reserve. However, I sold a car through the auctions a few months ago and was very pleased with the amount I received, also, my local auction (Newark) collect cars from private sellers for free which was a bonus.0 -
