It a phrase, but an intonation which annoys me is a rising inflection coupled with a drawn out final syllable. It's an irritating bleat.

I have a friend who uses it from my name - Oh, Polleeeeee.

Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)

As has just been stated on another thread "24/7/365".
Are there 365 weeks in a year?

    'At the minute.'

But as I don't live in Northern Ireland I don't hear it that often.

But as to people in Northern Ireland generally they seem highly educated.

Let em say what they like. They are still trying to hurt them even after death.
People are cruel & will say anything to justify themselves & their own thoughts.
Basically we are all selfish individuals & the sooner we get our head around that the better.
    Somebody had to say it...
People are mostly horrid. They don't care. No such thing as altruism, it doesn't exist! I've argued this til the cows came home with a professor. I won.
    I did!

Same difference. Should be "same thing".
Can I get a coffee please. Should be "can I have ..." (i.e. they have to get it for you).
At the minute. Should be "at the moment".

I found out later that he had walked up a hill and layed down in the snow. Clearly he needed help and didn't get it. Nice guy as well.

I remember this because I myself was in a full plaster jacket from neck down to waist having a week off from hospital at Christmas time. I couldn't walk. I myself was in hospital for a year having a spinal correction-scoliosis.

Actually I wouldn't mind a stint in a hospital. Only if I could watch TV though. It's a safe place to be.
I'd consider hurting myself... but I'd probably mess it up. I'd either die or just be sent off in a back brace & crutches.
Even nice people choose to kill themselves. It's their choice. I'm all for democracy x
