Online charity donations
I will be joining 100 others in a charity firewalk in November. The charity is a ‘[FONT="]not for profit CIC’ and I believe this means they can’t register for GiftAid. [/FONT]
A lot of us want to setup our own individual online sponsor page and I have checked the advice posted on MSE.
If I understand the site, before we can use one of these services, the charity would need to register with that service. Would they be able to register?
Is there any other way we could collect sponsorship online without looking like a ‘send your money to my own account’ page?

Justgiving do a crowdfunding page which they suggest for CIC's

Other fundraising sites might do similar
I haven't used it so I don't know what fees are like in comparison to the charities option.Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0 -

It's worth noting that some platforms charge high fees, Just Giving as a good example. I'm treasurer of a small charity and I've done some research so please see the fees below in order lowest to highest.
