  • Glad DS got there safe and sound.

Hope you feel better soon xx
  • I just lost a long post because my internet is flaky .

    Thanks all of you :).

I feel much better since having a nap. I wouldn't dream of napping normally but I was so tired I felt ill :(.

DS1's friend had got hold of some cheap theatre tickets for them all, so he went to see Hamlet this afternoon. DS1 got on the bus and paid for his ticket with some change in his pocket. He then realised he'd forgotten his wallet, phone and theatre ticket . He asked the bus driver to stop and the driver gave him his bus money back as they'd gone less than one stop :T. Anyway DS1 really enjoyed the play, his first Shakespeare.

  • DH and I managed to get some work done and I got a £5.25 bonus payment from PA :beer::beer:. It was for a survey I did months ago. My balance went from zero to £5.25 :T.

Then I got an 80p beer survey (I never drink beer) and the survey I did before that was on football which I never watch :rotfl:.

I also got a YG survey and my balance is now 2575, creeping up slowly :).

I've no idea what DS2 is doing, but it's only 1.45pm in New Orleans.

Tonight I plan to have an early night so that I can do my morning walk and be super efficient tomorrow.

Hope everyone has had a good Thursday :).

Good to hear DS2 is safely arrived in the US.

I hope you aren't getting the dreaded virus that has struck me down.

An early night is a good idea.
  • Thanks Cumbria :).

I think I was just exhausted from two nights of hardly any sleep and worrying about DH's health and DS2's trip. I hope it's not a bug anyway.

Thanks INOD, things do seem to move fast around here :o.

They were using my value oats and some honey they found, I've no idea what else. They left a right mess in the kitchen too .

Hamlet is a hard one to start with and long !

So glad to hear DS2 safely in the US. You can't help worrying can you, it goes with being a parent.
  • It was a really good production so DS1 really enjoyed it :).

I don't know what I'd worry about if I wasn't a parent Elizabeth, it certainly seems to be an inevitable result of having children. And yet you wouldn't want to be without them.

  • We had a lovely quiet day today, I could do with some more of those! We had an early night and slept soundly so I felt much better this morning :).

I went for my walk this morning and saw some lovely spring blossom on a tree. My totals for today so far are: 11,827 steps, 31 floors, 5.51 miles and 33 active minutes.

Then we got some work done. I got a wash on and it's all drying on the clothes horse and radiators now, I refuse to tumble :money:. We even managed to have the heating off for a few hours by wearing our coats indoors :money:.

I heard from DS2 :T. I messaged him and he actually replied! He said he went to the aquarium yesterday and saw sea otters :).

We finished work early as DH felt shattered and we'll have another early night tonight.

    Happy Friday everyone :).
