    CAnt get to sleep, too hot. Been in garden for an hour, nicely chilled, soon warm up when I get inside :mad:

    Just thought I'd catch-up see what's going on and how folk are. Hope we're all getting plenty water.

    Today I was jiggered by the heat and that was just sitting around. Busy doing nothing :rotfl:
    There's no place like home :)

    Dave, you're quite a learned man,well I think you are. I am writing a piece about gangs in Northeast, still trawling for info.

    My question to you is who during the 1960s did most of the demolition and clearance in Newcastle when the regeneration started? Would you be able to find out? :D

    Well before m time missus. If you are looking for corrupt building companies, the only one I can think of off hand is Davisons, who used to do all the building work/roads round here until it came to light about all the backhanders the also corrupt council were getting.
    O'Brien could be worth a look for the demolition.
