When going for a mortgage would it be better to have car finance or credit card debt?

I know ideally the answer would be neither but we are going to try with one of either.
We want to buy a house next year (consessionary purchase, Gifted deposit) and are quite determined. We have just finished paying off a 6k loan by me getting a second job and selling our second car but we still have credit card debt of 5.5k and finance of just under 2k.
My partner is awaiting 4K compensation any day now and we are undecided wether it would be better to pay off the car finance completely (we pay interest on this, the monthly payment is only 53 per month though) and then putting the remaining 2k on the CC, we could pay some more off on it but not all so we would still be left with some debt on the CC when we go for a mortgage, or do we put it all on on the CC (interest free until August 2019) which we could afford to clear the remaining balance but we would still have the car finance of £53 a month? Any advice would be great, thanks.
