im in shock.
i made a thread a few days ago about my current debt situation, around £6500 which happened when i had to take a month off work at the begining of 2016 i was very poorly in hospital and when i returned to work i couldnt make up the payments for the month i missed so ended up defaulting on 7 accounts in total...
I broke down infront of my sister last week about my situation as it all just got too much and she told my grandma about the mess i was in.
my grandma called me this morning and asked me to go and see her today as she had christmas presents for me and the kids
she handed me a christmas card with a cheque for £7000 inside of it! :O
i told her i couldnt accept this and i needed to sort this out by myself but she insisted and said its going to come out of the money shes left in her will to me, i said i didnt want a single penny more than what shes given as i am so so grateful.
i havent stopped crying for the past few hours in disbelief and shock! with this money i can pay ALL my debts and credit cards off and not owe a single penny to anyone!
finally after over a year of worry, tears, sleepless nights and being close to slipping back into depression i feel like a huge weight has been lifted and i feel like i may actually get a full nights sleep for the first time in a long time!
time to start a savings goal now!
