You will get a start up period if you are newly self-employed within the last 12 months prior to or at the start of your claim. As long as you haven't claimed UC before and had a start up period in the last 5 years.
You will be expected to attend a 3 monthly review for those 12 months and you will have to declare your income and expenditure, which will/should be checked against your receipts etc at the reviews. If at anytime you ar not taking steps to increase your profit, they can introduce the minimum income floor.0 -
thanks for your reply
I want to start uber eats delivery job

there will be start up period and 3 months review?

The twelve months is the period before they apply the Minimum Income Floor which treats you as earning a certain amount even if you earn less. It does not mean they do not check your earnings. As tomtom says you will be required to provide information every month about what income you have received and what business expenditure you have incurred.
