I wouldn't bank on it with the current govt cuts. They just sacked all trainee pilots in the RAF.0 -

As we are fighting three wars at once at the moment, I think your job is secure.
Relatively safe too - my father in law had "a good war" against the Japanese as an aircraft technician in India.0 -
