I wouldn't be able to stand the suspense. Id have to do a test to put my mind at rest! Hope the outcome is whatever you'd want it to be.

    :T on your loss bubbs
I loved your post of all your achievements in the past year esmy . It's brilliant motivation for all of us but especially anyone starting out. Thank you. :)
Salted nuts (would be your hexb I think but worth it as they last for ages).
AFAIK salted nuts aren't a HEB, only plain ones. :(
Thanks for all the feedback on HEBs. I rarely miss but I don't want to mess DH about. If I tell him I can have 2 slices he'll do the same with rye bread and that'll mean 6 more syns. :( He's such a sweetie making me breakfast in bed every day, I don't want to put him off. :D

I've just taken 1.5 syns out of the bank today. I decided to make up a pack of couscous to use up salady bits. I've snacked on some this evening.

I would be suicidal...... so hoping it is just me being out of kilter or the menopause... either are better than another pregnancy. :o:o:o:o But my swollen tummy is annoying me, but that is still far better than a pregnancy! Pulling my fingers nails out with pliers would be better than a pregnancy.

I should add that I am 48.... hence the strong oppositional view. :D

I went to WI on Weds expecting the worst but miraculously STS!

Hopefully I'll start losing again this week.

My consultant is meh. Nothing to write home about, not inspiring and very uninformed about vegan food. Am not impressed but the class is the only morning one I can attend so I'm stuck. The group members seem friendly enough but they keep themselves to themselves, not much hope to socialise there. Next week is my last of the 6 and then I'll decide if to go it alone. What's people's opinion about doing it without the group?Thank you.

Edited to add: I save all my syns for fat! Olive oil, extra cheese or nuts, avocado.am I the only one? I would rather have oil on my salad than chocolate!

    Well done on the sts.
I know a number on here don't go to group, and manage to lose. I couldn't do it (tried and failed a number of times), but everyone is different, and to be honest, a naff consultant wouldn't help me lose either, and I'd so drift away.
Try it, and see how you get on.

Saving your syns for fats makes a difference from most people's saving them for alcohol (maman) :rotfl:
It's what ever you fancy. For me a like a few a day for adding good flavour, and most for real bad treats, although I always like to leave some free cos of sugar coating on tablets, and drug side effects and stuff.

I think at 48 the change is more likely. Before I got ill and the medication has totally changed my periods to make them even worse (major part of my iron problems), I was starting to head towards the change, and some months I would do the full pmt, bloating, sore breasts, spots, etc, and then no bleeding, and it would all calm down, and the next month I would have a totally normal period
