I think in this case is better to trust a company with a good reputation. If I need something like that I contact with guys essaywritingon. com They are cheap and reliable. I am always confident that they will write quality work and I do not have anything to remodel.0

There are lots of CV services out there on all the jobsites and mixed reviews. I think a CV is your most important career tool so worth investing £xx to get a third party to give their opinion. Assuming they are a reputable firm with decent reviews.0

Oh look a first time poster advertising a site which also writes assignments for those lazy students who cant be bothered/dont have the ability to pass the course they chose to enrol on.0

I used a cv service as a last resort.
I had what i thought was a good cv, but wasnt really in the 'modern ' format. Id tried a few times to create a more 'bulleted' cv but really couldnt acheive a satisfactory result. I genuinely believe that a well written cv is an imprtant way to communicate yourself to your interviewer. Ive been complimented on my cv before. I engaged a cv writing company when i came to start looking for another job as i was concerned my cv wasnt in a 'modern' format.
Having someone rewrite my cv in that format and read my own experience back to myself was a completely different experience from reading a 'monster' guide to writing a cv. But i still couldnt accept that my cv was should just be a list of bullets - I absolutely hated it.
9 months of looking for a job later i dug that cv out again. I rewrote it several times...but tried to stick to the tone of the original and the brutally short format
..but i softened the language slightly...i couldnt take expressions like 'selfmotivated team player who excels at proactive opportunity identification'.
I was then offered two jobs in quick succession.
Id be reluctant to take a cv as it was given without editing it myself (not least in case it was too similar to someone else who had used the same company) but there might be some people in a similar position to me who could benefit from that push over the edge.0 -

Good on you for changing that meaningless drivel. There should be a campaign for plain English amongst recruitment offices the length and breadth of the country. Why the hell would anyone be interested in a short CV that says this type of thing, (and by definition means not much useful information is in the CV)?
Others have said one of the worst things you can put on your CV profile is "self- motivated team-player" as it so derivative, and therefore meaningless.0 -
I am early retired Associate Manager, part of the Operations Recruitment team of a large American bank in London. I have seen 1000's of CV's and interviewed 100's of job seekers.
Please note 99% of CV's are discarded after a few seconds scan, too long, too short, to flowery language, not specific to the role, too much business speak and so the list goes on and on.
I am not offering to write CV's because the job seeker or candidate has to be 100% confident to answer related questions. What I am happy to offer free of charge – dependent on the level of interest - is to work with people on their CV’s and maybe give some guidance on the interview process.0 -
I wouldn't bother personally. There is enough helpful tips and tricks you can find on the internet to help you. From experience of employing people, I can however say that the most important thing is to make sure everything is grammatically correct and spelt correctly!
Otherwise, add a small splash of colour and sell yourself. You can't go far wrong!0 -
I definitely think it is worth considering one. I used one and it for sure helped me get an interview faster. If you think of it about as a return on investment. How much longer are you going to wait for an interview if you write the CV yourself and it is not that great or if you have a professional write one and you get the interview (and therefore job - if you are good interviews) quicker. Money returned much quicker in my circumstance.Love is the answer :j0

I've used CV writing services twice in the past and both times have been a waste of money. One of them actually spelled my name wrong and put inaccurate information on my CV. I had to go through and re-write most of it, so there was no point in paying someone to do it in the first place. I also didn't see any difference in the amount of interviews I got compared to my older CV.
There's plenty of free advice online and CV templates that are easy to download. Just ask friends and family to read over your CV to ask for feedback instead of relying on a stranger. You're the expert on your skills and experience, not a CV agency!0 -

Can I ask where this 'statistic' came from?
My experience is the total opposite: The more senior someone is, the faster I can get them an interview. The more specialist someone's experience, the faster I can get them an interview.
But anyone can get themselves interviews by picking the right jobs and tailoring what they send.0
