Haven't even got out of bed yet and I'm irritated.
-The badly behaved cat peed in the laundry basket so all my summer clothes have had to go back in the wash and I'll have to wear jeans today.
-I've pulled a muscle in my leg and have to drag it behind me, quasimodo style
-OH ate all the bread so I can't have toast for breakfast

Ignore them. They are rude ignorant idiots. Your employer values you and they have far more idea than someone who's never met you before today.
As you say, if they can get the item to the till and then get it from the trolley into their car without help, then they can manage to get it through the till.

I'd also agree with not even having the debate with them in the first place - you absolutely do not need to justify yourself. Point them at customer services if they have any comments they wish to make.

I can just imagine the face and the vocal reaction of any of my colleagues on customer service if a customer went over to complain about me with that as the reason.

Schools closed because they are being used for polling stations. This means schools are closed. A couple of my FB friends have asked can anyone look after their children as their schools are closed due to the above next Thursday. Yet, one of the schools, about 100 yards from there is a village hall which has been used in previous votes. It's has great access for disabled and has a decent car park. The school's, which is only normally for staff use, is accessible by a long track which is poorly lit.

Been given a booking reference for getting an appointment to see a growth on my face, On entering the details as stated on the website, there is a message of 'There are currently no appointments available' Great! Then there is a box to fill in at the bottom to fill when its the best time to contact me to arrange an appointment and give dates which can/can't do.

Erm, firstly I am hardly available during the standard opening hours of NHS clinics for them to contact me. Then doubt if they have any appointments anyway (they would be on the website). Getting rather annoyed as there is a family history of skin growths - a few of my dad's cousins have this, plus one great aunt - mother of dad's cousins. If these growths are left, they can turn into skin cancer, as seen. One of my dad's cousins had his nose had skin grafts on it, due to cancer. Mine is between eye and nose.

Has anyone - or know of anyone, that has filled in this box and get an appointment?

Is there not a phone number lurking anywhere -can you phone them to ask?
Or get the GP to chase it up if there's nothing available to check when the next tranche might be released?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

It turned out to be benign, which is what the doc thought, but it needed dealing with.

The appointment at the skin clinic came from them. I didn't have to contact them.

Was 20 minutes late for work this morning, some junkies were having a heated argument at back of bus and bus driver refused to move until they calmed down, eventually he drove to town centre where the police were waiting and they shouted abuse at the police claiming they were "stiched up"

    Bus drivers have my sympathy.
In the space of a few stops my driver today had people with out of date passes, trying to travel too early and someone who didnt understand that they were trying to board the wrong bus. All they had to do was go to to the adjacent shelter to the rear.
I wouldnt do their job no matter how much you paid me.

    Nosebleeds.

I've been sneezing and having to blow my nose a lot and last night after a huge sneeze my nose started bleeding again, but was gushing out and I thought it was never going to stop. It was a proper bloodbath!

Why are the cartridges of sealant so bloody big? Why can't they make smaller ones, I only needed a little bit. The stuff now left in the pack will go hard and won't be usable
