Good evening everyone,
My partner and I bought our home last November on a 2 year fixed rate.
I have considered changing employement to be self-employed. Can anyone confirm if when we reach the end of our 2 year fix and we look to enter into a new fixed agreement with nationwide, will we be subject to a new affordability check? I have concerns that I will have less than 2 years worth of records for being self employed and this may prevent us from entering into a new fixed term.
Any help will be much appriciated.

No you won’t if you do it online or through a broker.0

As long as you're not looking to increase borrowing or change term, a product transfer with Nationwide has no checks.0
