    Hello everyone!

I've been a bit quiet over the Christmas period for two main reasons:

    - I'm at my boyfriend's at the moment which means I'm not on my computer as much (we had 2nd Christmas and we've been doing the Family Rounds as it's his birthday tomorrow)
    - I have written 50,000 words in the last 7 days - which is a (short) first draft of a novel. Eek! I have a MA in Creative Writing so writing is something I do as a hobby but I'm really pleased I've managed to scribble down so many words in such a short space of time, while I've been off work. Obviously, it would be wonderful if This Was The One that got me published, but I don't have my hopes too high for that. It's a hobby, and editing it will be interesting.

But I hope everyone has enjoyed their New Year celebrations!

On a more MSE note: I changed my internet to EE, and today when all my DDs went out... I still have £70 in my account. I'm usually £200 overdrawn by this time, so I'm feeling good about that
    Mortgage: £83,000
    Credit Card Debt: £1,700
    Loan Debt: £3,000

Congrats on reaching 50,000 words! Did you start it around nanowrimo by any chance? what was the MA in Creative Writing like? :)

Also, congrats on keeping £70 in the bank!

Hello! No I didn't actually, I wrote something else for NaNo (I managed 50k then as well but it was AWFUL) but this is an idea that's been rolling around for a while, and it seemed to get some legs. Although having re-read it, there's plenty of editing to keep me busy!!
