I paid in and out a £1000 every month from when I switched ,mid Feb and received my £125 on time.

So £1500 per month is rubbish.

Its 'annoying' (for want of a better term) that they are seemingly handing out the compensation to anyone who asks when the vast majority have suffered no loss at all and only opened the account to get the bonus payment.

If its delayed by a few days then so what.

Not £1500/month, just one payment of £1500.

....or even 1500 payments of £1!

There's a nice little greedy free for all going on here.

exactly the same response i got from the adviser that called me just now 125 by the 27th and 30 pounds in compensation today.

Pretty much the same story here too. I sent a complaint email over the weekend as the Customer Services Rep couldn't give me a definitive response and the Switching Team lines were closed.

I received a callback this morning from a complaints handler albeit I was offered £25 compensation and asked if I had incurred any out of pocket expenses to which I answered honestly.

Told the bonus would be paid by 27th April.

The initial switch bonus is fine, after all the banks offered it. But demanding compensation for a delay on free money, that shouldn't have financially affected you especially after a few days, is ridiculous.

I disagree. It is a breach of contract. People closed their bank accounts and switched to NatWest in order to get a bonus by 13th April. NatWest broke that agreement. Compensation is appropriate in my opinion.

Although it is also my opinion the the loss making incompetent RBS, which taxpayers have subsidised with billions of pounds, should not be giving our money away in this manner in the first place.

Got mine on 11th. Wish I hadn't so I could get compensation.
