Budgeting app

Hi everyone,

I need to find a (free) app to use on my mobile (android if that makes a difference!) for budgeting and managing my money.
Can anyone recommend one please?

Maybe an excel spreadsheet is all you need? Most of the good ones are paid and others want pictures of you drivers license and passport.....

Do you have an actual computer?
    If so, download MS money

I use "spending," I've had a look and there is "Budget Mode" I can't comment on how good that feauture is, but for tracking spending I think the app is great.

Monitoring is not the same as budgeting though. Monitoring is keeping track of what is spent, i.e. after the event, and budgeting is setting what is available to be spent, i.e. proactive. The only app I have come across that does that effectively is YNAB, but it's not free of course.
Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.

Trouble is, those who are bizarrely fixated on MS Money have to keep rewording questions to try to fit them to the (wrong) answer.

    Hence:

    Q. Any ideas for budgeting apps usable on Android?
A: What's that you say, you want to monitor accounts using a Windows PC? How about MS Money....
