I'm in for £200 for April - my month will run from 24th March to 25th April - just about 5 weeks with a slightly shorter first week as my "weeks" start on a Thursday.
I have an Ocad0 order booked for Sunday evening (25th) which is just some cleaning stuff and a couple of cupboard items that were on offer, nothing too exciting!
Going for a split something like: £50 (just under) for Ocad0 stock order, then £30 a week after as it's a 5 week month.

Hi all, could you put me down for £370 for the month please from the 1st-30th April.
It's been tight this month and April includes 2 weeks Easter holiday, when my kids always seem to eat more and we're also away for 3 days so may need to increase the budget slightly depending on where we eat during those few days. Hoping to use some clubcard vouchers to reduce the costGrocery Challenge 2020

I will try for £200 for April, found it quite tight, but, did buy quite a bit of store cupboard/freezer stuff, looking at the recipe lists as scrolling through, really must try some that caught my eye, I am a serious carnivore and don`t eat carbs so will have a good look.
SORRY ELSIEPAC I AM AMENDING BACK TO £200, JUST TOO TIGHT.
Do I need it or just want it.0 -

Hi everyone. Thanks again elsiepac, Coxy, and lynnejk for continuing these threads. It's been a huge help to me in shifting the way I think about food and grocery shopping.
For April, I would like to set my budget at €400 covering April 1st –!30th, please. Some of the purchases I was supposed to make in March are being pushed to April I think. I also have a big event coming up in late April that I'm managing so I may be eating a lot more ready-food just to keep on top of things. Let's see how it goes.
As a reminder, this budget covers two people in mainland Europe. My OH is vegetarian and I eat everything but eat a lower carb diet which means more fresh veg, fruit, dairy and meat for me instead of easy cheap fillers like potatoes, bread, pasta, etc. Sometimes I buy for OH but he's been going his own way food-wise lately so this budget mostly covers me and a lot of the household goods like toilet paper, etc.
I'm still over on the March thread and will join this one again next week or so. Good luck everyone! :j0 -
Evening all
Thank you elsiepac and Coxy for running the thread again
Please put us down for our usual £200 for the month from first to last day. This covers DH and me for all food, laundry, cleaning and toiletries.
Hoping to come under again, as still running down stocks and freezers
Good luck everyone and hope you all have a storming month
