They're both bank holidays, so I'm guessing they'll be closed on both days!

Only some flagship branches will be open... like the NatWest in Liverpool One shopping centre (which is also open on Sundays). Best to check individual bank websites or call centres, who will have full details.

Personally i do not expect any of the banks to be open Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Friday for the Royal Wedding or MayDay - I'm not sure about Easter Saturday.

    What about St. George's Day?
Oh yes, I forgot. The English don't have a bank/public holiday on their national day ... ;)

Even Metro Bank is closed on Good Friday & Easter Sunday:
    OPENING HOURS
    Monday - Friday: 8am to 8pm
    Saturday: 8am to 6pm
    Sunday: 11am to 5pm

We are open 7 days a week, 361 days a year. Only closed on:
    • New Year's Day
    • Good Friday
    • Easter Sunday
    • Christmas Day

We daren`t, because we`ve let the world and his wife into the country and now we might upset them if we have a national day!

In the days of 24 hour call centres, ATMs, debit cards and credit cards, online banking round the clock etc it amazes me that people need a branch for anything!

Despite all these innovations over the past 50 years, banks open for longer hours now than they ever did.

It may be better but it's not good enough!
Banks might like to think about opening when their customers want them open ... and it's no good saying the Internet has taken over, otherwise you would be implying that we don't need shops either. It may well suit you to do everything online but there are others who don't ... and some banks insist that you visit branches for certain transactions.

I'm amazed that people think banks should be open on a BANK holiday.

What do they think a bank holiday is? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
