Afternoon all,
Was at the dentist for a replacement filling this morning - another hour until I can have lunch!
Been a cold start here but quite nice now.
DD has got a viral infection now so has antibiotics and ear drops to take. She hasn't been well all week but had to go to Uni as important stuff being done and no chance to repeat it until next year. Anyway, luckily she wasn't there today and got an appointment first thing. Hopefully she will recover quickly now.
So many things going about.
Hope everyone is feeling ok.
I am still coughing too rose but thankfully not affecting my sleep. Infact I seem to be sleeping much better than I have for years!
Three GKs will keep you busy leanfun!
Must get a few comps done.

Thanks FF. Everything fine with me now . Had some lovely home made soup but hardly tasted it as still numb!
Glad DD got to Dr, was worried as she couldn't hear in right ear. It is so difficult for peeps to get appointments nowadays. We have to phone at 8am and take a reserved morning appointment or do without!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Posted the following info in my morning Betty post .... I know it'll
be of interest here :A
The State of Britain’s Hedgehogs (7th February 2018)
Published jointly by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society
(BHPS) and People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES). This
report is the only comprehensive review of the status of Britain’s
hedgehogs in the UK.
It shows that hedgehogs in the countryside are in a serious
decline. However, the picture is not so bad for our towns and
cities. Although the species has declined by a third in urban areas
since 2000, the rate of decline is slowing, and where hogs are
found, numbers appear to be growing in some places. This shows
why campaigns like Hedgehog Street are so important, and could
actually help bring this species back from the brink.
You can download the report by clicking here >>>

What is Hedgehog Street?
Hedgehog Street is a joint campaign run by the People’s Trust for
Endangered Species and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society
(BHPS), concerning people, gardens and wildlife.
People love gardens (especially British people).
People love hedgehogs.
Hedgehogs love gardens – they need to access to lots of gardens
to survive.
Hedgehogs need connected neighbourhoods of gardens, rich in
insects and free from hazards.
Hedgehogs are currently in severe decline in the UK, with around a
third lost since the millennium. That is why we started the
campaign in 2011 as a means of engaging British people about the
wildlife that depends on them and their gardens.
Hedgehog Street is about joining up the dots. It’s about
empowering people with an understanding of hedgehogs, why they
are declining, and how easy it is to help them.
This website has everything you need to ensure that hedgehogs
remain as much a part of the British countryside as tea and
scones.

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care whatever
your plans.

Good Morning,
Love hedgehogs Alfie but so seldom see them. Remember I stopped the traffic on our road few years ago as family of them were crossing the road!
Are you starting to feel a bit more back to normal now FF? (If you know what I mean)
Hope cough gets better soon rose. Mine is just occaisonal now. Luckily it doesn't seem to have gone to my chest or Dhs and it has stopped hurting my ribs etc when I do cough. (that was painful)
Did you get to the theatre leanfun?
Be nice for you to get the weekend off indie.
Been pretty wet here over night and misty now but not cold.
Must get on as we have hair cuts to go for this morning - well over due.

its sunny here so far this morning.
We had a good evening last night. We had a meal at a Cafe Rouge (with a voucher). I had a very nice fish dish. The play was just one ver talented actor and story teller, Debs Newbold, with a machine with recorded sounds. That was it she was in jeans and t shirt no scenery and told a story of a family. So it was something completely different. We had brilliant seats in row B so there was no problem with seeing and hearing. She was very talented and quite funny in parts. So it was good to have an evening out.
Shells pleased you are feeling a lot better but the cough seems to be lingering. Sorry to hear about your daughter. its hard when you are ill and trying to study. Hope she!!!8217;s better soon.
Rose take care pleased to hear snow is clearing your way. Hope your cough eases soon.
Thanks for hedgehog info Alfie. Smiled thinking of you helping them across the road Sheils.
Firefly one day at a time. Just do what you feel able to and don!!!8217;t worry about the rest.
Take care everyone and good luck.0
