Too right Shangajimmy. Purse is staying at home, no need for it at work.

London was great, bit too big and busy for me but we had a good day.
Due to traffic, we arrived 2.5 hours too late to do what we had planned, I will only go by train in future. The coach tickets were free though.
Nan donated a Patisserie Valerie tea for two which she can't use herself, sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and jam, delish! I asked for a bag for the cakes because we were already full so we got to eat them on the coach on the way back.
We visited the Natural History Museum for free (donated £3 its all we had in change), not bad, shame Dippy wasn't there.
And the best bit - there was a music festival in Hyde Park, we didn't buy tickets but we found a great spot outside the fences that we could see half the screen (their faces) and hear the music perfectly. We heard one of our favourite bands (Gogol Bordello) live for free! Nada! £0!
Total spend for a day trip to London - £3

Right, today I will mostly be making this months budget, listing on ebsy and boxing up, best get cracking....

So, the monthly figures have been totted up, here we go...

-£13.96. Food - £313.06/£300. £23.96 last week. Not far off target after all. :T
    +£15.14. Petrol - £109.86/£125. :T
-£57.94. Cigs - £122.94/£65. Totally going to give this up!
    +£12.20. Fun me - £87.80/£100. Nothing this week. :T
    +£0.21. Fun DH - £99.79/£100. Nothing this week :T
-£25.00. Driving lessons - £250/£225 Not a problem these are important.
    +£62.95. Extra saved - £62.95. - £15 ebsy £7.95 TCB this week :T

    Difference = -£6.40.

OK! Not bad, we're almost evens. It does mean anything extra (after wage savings) that we saved was spent, but at least we had saved this extra. This diary is such a help, if I hadn't of wrote that I would list on ebsy I wouldn't have done it and the £40 in the change vase would still be sitting in there now. Thanks for the support I've had on here, I'm learning as I go along but it has really helped thinking I have someone else to not let down. My monthly budget has been an eye opener so I will continue doing these.

So total saved in June is £472. Let's see if we can beat this in July.

Thanks SSS and Jessy. For everyone that has to spend time with me and DH in RL its best that we don't give up smoking until we move. We're both looking forward to saving cig money in a separate treats pot for a while - we've got our eyes on some snazzy wellies haha!

Spoke to our solicitor today. Huff! He said if the septic tank drainage didn't comply with environmental health we won't get a mortgage on the house until our sellers sort it. They're about 90 years old and don't look like they have money for this. It would be so sad for them if they are unable to move, they are only moving due to age and health issues. I don't want to tell DH but I'll have to when he's home because it'll be too obvious that I've got my grump on. Septic survey is next Tuesday, that'll be 7 weeks since we completed the chain. Fingers well and truly crossed that its ok!!

Screw being grumpy, it's no fun! Even more so I hated seeing DH grumpy & worrying what will happen with the drains and moving. We pulled ourselves together last night, had a big chat and decided that rather than preparing ourselves for a fall, we're going to enjoy the whole process and deal with any fall at the time IF it happens. We'll be just as sad if anything bad happens if we prepare for it or if we don't, so the dreaming of what it's going to be like continues :D We've bought a mini tractor from the seller and I'm so excited dreaming of riding around on it with pink warpaint on and my 'Happy Halo Helmet' (GI helmet covered in pink fluff) :rotfl:
