DMP and Credit Score/File 23rd May 19 at 8:39 AM
    Morning everyone,

Just after a bit of advice here. I am 2.5 years into my DMP (long road ahead though) and was just wondering if/when the debts in the plan stop affecting my credit file? Is it for the duration of the DMP or for a set period etc?

    Many thanks.

Where accounts have gone into default, they will come off your file after 6 years from the date of the default. As they get older they will have less effect on your credit worthiness.
