    "heartbroken" kids
first world problems and all that
the stupid parents shouldn't have built their hopes up, doubt the kids were reading the adverts themselves, and if some of the older ones were, why were they off school?

When I first heard about the promotion I thought it was the parents age.
My words were "I'm not paying 35 quid for a teddy" :rotfl:
  • Hands up who didn't think that would happen.

Mind you, BAB is nothing more than a complete rip off anyway ...the niece wanted an outfit for her BAB and as mum was going shopping I asked her to buy me one.

Poor mum was embarrassed to tell me how much the piece of cloth, no bigger than an hanky cost.

I have a 4 year old and must admit I don't get the whole Build a Bear thing.
Spend a fortune on a bear with clothes on. What's the point.

Woman at work told me her daughter has 7 of them
  • A mother in Milton Keynes said she had taken her five-year-old daughter out of school to ensure they could get in the queue for a discounted bear.

"She's only five, they're not really doing much in school that's important at that age," she said.

There's one child's future flushed down the toilet, if that's the attitude of the parent(s)...

And who stands there for 5 to 9 hours with a small child, just to save a few quid on a teddy bear?!

Lots of parents in Manchester apparently.

I was down at Arndale at lunchtime and the queue must have had hundreds of people in it - mostly with unhappy tired small kids in tow.

Easily a 6 hour wait to save a few pounds on something they dont need. Absolute madness.

We all know pre-schoolers are great at waiting in queues for five hours!

Waiting in line for the toilet....need to go now!
In the queue at Morrison's.....can I have can I have?

Then again it wasn't the children who drove to the store, vthey were merely stooges to grab a cheaper over priced stuffed toy.
