Hi there
I had an auto renewal on a wholesale site which I wasn’t aware of, I contacted them after two days to say I’d had no notice of the renewal and I certainly didn’t have an email advising that they had taken money from. I asked to refund me which they didn’t and now Lloyd’s are telling me that they’ve put in another request for the money after MasterCard refunded me.
Do I not have rights to cancel.
Many thanks
Tracey

I paid by MasterCard. It expired before the renewal but they went out there way to find my new MasterCard number and didn’t tell me.0

They could have processed it against the existing card. It would still be valid.0

This is a common mistake, however the merchant has not broken the law. Any refund would be one of kindness rather than compulsion.
I have made this mistake in the past and had charges from merchants I had forgotten about completely. I requested a brand new debit card, disconnected the old one and took care in future of what I signed up to.Advice provided from this account does not consist of any professional knowledge.
