    Quick Question,

    My job has been put at risk. We have a 30 day consultation period then on the 30th day the decision is made whether you will keep your job or not. From that day you get four weeks notice then leave.

    My question is about voluntary redundancy. If I choose to leave now, do I get paid up to the 30 days consultation period then a further four weeks notice pay period. In effect getting two months pay.

    Or, do I just get four weeks pay from the date that I give my notice in?

    I hope that makes sense,

    From my understanding (remember i'm a numpty), the consultation period is just that, no descions have been made:rolleyes:, so i don't think you are entitled to any extra pay for going early , you might get it in a voluntary redundancy package:confused:,
    personally I'd use the 30 days to look for another job:A
