Asking nicely at charity shops may produce stuff from their rag bag that isn't of sellable quality but useful for your purpose.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

I go to a Boyes store for fabric for my school bits.0

I buy all my fabric (quilts, curtains, large items of clothing) from second hand shops, it's amazing what you find if you have the time at the fraction of the cost of fabric shops which seem extortionate.0
