Merry Xmas and a happy New Year to everyone who has contributed to this thread.

A particular thanks go to those who are willing to comment, despite their obvious boredom.

I know some are afraid to post here for fear of reprisals. So please feel free to send a personal message instead of posting on the open forum. I have been able to provide additional info in some cases, especially to those who suffered at the hands of De Vita Platt.

I expect more revelations to follow once the full SDT judgment is available.

    NO Thank You
I appreciate the positive contributions made by a few regarding this post.

I know to the many that this post must seem to them boring ( if it is then donít read it ) but to me and a lot of others that I know who have been affected by the incompetence of Devita Platt these posts have been invaluable.

I would like to thank Paul In particular for the time he must of spent collating all the information and posting it on this forum.

This thread will continue for a while yet because someone will comment on the fact that it is still active and how boring itís getting therfore extending its life.

    Merry Xmas XX

The SRA website now shows that all three solicitors were struck off the Solicitors Roll.

The full SDT judgment is probably some weeks away from publication.

It is possible that there are other defendants in this case but the Court will not provide a list of defendants by case or a list of the charges. I suspect this may be due to the introduction of GDPR.

    {Edited by Forum Team} Ė Town & Country Law
Director of Town & Country Law, member since 2017 and recently appointed a member of the SWWís Professional Standards Board, itís been a busy year for {Edited by Forum Team}. Now adding the conference to that list, {Edited by Forum Team} will be giving a talk on Living Wills Ė certainly one not to miss.

That conference was 7-8 October 2018 but within two months, {Edited by Forum Team} had not only ceased to be director of Town & Country Law but {Edited by Forum Team} had also left The Society of Will Writers. Days later, {Edited by Forum Team}were struck off the Solicitors Roll.

There is now an active proposal by Companies House to strike Town & Country Law off the register of companies (for failing to submit accounts) If Town & Country Law fail to submit accounts within two months, it could be struck off the register and cease to exist, with all its assets (though not its liabilities) passing to the Crown.

Town & Country Law have now submitted their accounts to Companies House, so the threat of strike-off is no longer in force.

Given that Town & Country Law has submitted accounts (albeit late) it is a clear indicator that they intend to carry on business with only {Edited by Forum Team} as a director.
