No indoor toilet in this property (hence why its cash only) and outdoor loo is probably behind the gate to the left on pic 7.
How many other properties in the UK don't have an indoor loo today?0 -

Tried googling it, and the best I could come up with was an estimated 40,000 homes in 2010. So, probably still more than you think today.
I was well into my teens before my mum finally relented and let dad install a loo in the bathroom (curtesy of a council grant). She insisted that we kept the outside loo, though, as she was adamant that an indoor loo was 'unhygienic' - and was only to be used at night or if we were ill.0 -

Reminds me of when Blackadder was selling his house:
Edmund: Well, what we're talking about in privy terms is the very latest in front-wall, fresh-air orifices, combined with a wide-capacity gutter installation below.
Mrs Pants: You mean you crap out of the window.
Edmund: Yes.
Mrs Pants: Well! In that case, we'll definitely take it! I can't stand those modern, dirty indoor things.0 -

Is your mum of Romany origin, as many of the older Romanies believed indoor toilets were unhygienic. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Unmodernised house with an... unfitted kitchen.

Not sure what's going on with that room with the green squares wallpaper - I *think* it might be a sliding wardrobe that has wallpaper on the doors. :huh:0
