UK family holiday ideas without a car

Options
I live in Kent, have three kids 5-14 and don't have a driving licence. We haven't had a holiday in 7 years. Looking to take them somewhere in the UK that I can access by public transport and where there are plenty of activities/outdoor stuff. Anyone had any good experiences or can recommend a travel company to book with? Thanks in advance!

If you're ok with caravans/chalets, Haven sites are generally accessible by public transport. Depending on what activities you like and whether you want them on or off site, they've got lots of sites all over the country.
We just use them as a base/for cooking, then head off out for the day.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Another fan of Haven sites here. I always look for sites with an indoor pool. There is plenty to keep the little ones occupied, especially if the weather is bad.

What about National Holidays (coach holidays), they have quite a lot to offer for families.

Littlesea In Weymouth has buses that come into the actual park every 30 mins. The train station is not too far away and can easily get a taxi or bus when you arrived. We have caravans there is you'd like any more information. ( Its a Haven park)
