    ~Make upto 10 a day February 2018~ 31st Jan 18 at 9:54 PM
    Hello and welcome everybody

This is the 126th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007. A link here to the original thread as I am sure some of you are interested to read where it all began.

Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, lynnejk and ALL posters, for helping us to keep the thread going. Thanks to previous challengers who used to run this thread too, Rawdinosaur, Emmaglet, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose, MizMir.

I have decided to rename this challenge as reading posts, it seems to put people off thinking they HAVE TO make 10 a day.

    You don't.

The original purpose of this challenge was to help people to try and make an extra 10 a day on top of their normal income to help things along. Ie paying off debt, making savings, paying for holidays, overpaying mortgages etc.

That is exactly what this challenge is about, attempting to make extra income on top of your normal income to help you wherever you need it.

People start the challenge by setting a goal of 1 a day. Then when they find they are smashing this regularly, they up it to 5 a day. Some of us gluttons for punishment go for 10 a day. It really is entirely upto you. We only ask you to post what your goal is to help you keep motivated. Some days you make more and some days you make less, but aim for extra at the end of the month.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

    What cannot be added:
    Wages from your main job

    What can be added:
    Income from a second job
    Daily clicks
    Mystery shopping
    And much, much more.

This board moves pretty quickly, so be sure to subscribe and read it regularly.

    Link to previous thread.

So who wants to kick 2018 into a financially working for you year?

Join this challenge and let's make those bank accounts fat, mortgages paid off, holidays paid off, savings account grow fatter, debts paid off and much much more!!!

Just back to congratulate everyone on whatever they managed to make this month. It's been a very difficult month for a lot of us so I think, all things being considered, we can all give ourselves a big pat on the back

Let's hope March is a brighter month for us all, in more ways than one. See you all on the new thread.

Jess - sounds like you're doing a great job. Is this your first or second baby? Feels so different 2nd time round for us. The couple of days we've been away, we spent with my father-in-law, his partner, his partner's daughter (25ish) and her daughter who is just 3 months. Now with our daughter (now 4) we had set routines. She fed at certain times. She napped throughout the day at certain times. We panicked if she missed, or was late with a feed/nap. With our little boy who's coming on 6-months, we barely do anything the same, yet it was funny watching the girl we were away with and her 3-month old girl. Everything she did, and the way she behaved with her daughter was like a mirror-image of how we behaved with our 1st. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is no right or wrong way to do anything when you're raising your baby. You do what is best for you both, and don't let anybody tell you differently. Things will improve for you - you'll soon have full uninterrupted 12 hour sleeps through the night and you'll get a good night sleep too. Until then, just look after yourself, and get all the rest you can.

The problem we had was that he had severe reflux and had to sleep upright most the time when he was very small (so strapped to me) and before that he had a tongue tie which we had to get sorted before we could feed. Then unfortunately I was very ill indeed, then more recently he had a norro virus and I did whatever I had to for him to rest.

All in all I ended up with a totally lovely baby, but one who absolutely catagorically refuses to stop breast feeding and thinks I am his personal dummy and doesn't sleep in his own cot.

Still seeing how all this goes.. he has a bad cold at the moment so we are struggling a bit as he wakes up coughing quite a few times, but mainly he seems to have accepted milk is only for morning and evenings and not in the middle of the night. Just trying to hang in there really and cling onto any small improvements I can see. Will slowly move towards getting him to sleep on his own all night..

At least I understand him so well now that I should (fingers crossed) be able to figure this out. Am totally shattered..

Monthly profit of 424 after fees from my sideline.

I have however just quit my part time job so this will be my only income this month if I don't find something else quick! I am on the lookout but have given myself a week off (probably just as well with the snow!)

The school I work at is shut today so I am still under the duvet! Still got lots going on here and my brother is quite poorly so am grateful for a break from work today. Will have to get going soon though as there is lots to do regarding the business. Not sure where I got up to in Feb as the last couple of weeks have been a bit of a blur with hospital visits etc but will try to work out a total later.

Well done to everyone who made money in Feb and see you on the March thread

    Evening all

How lovely reading all your posts and brilliant results for Feb

I'm declaring at 224.50/280, so didn't quite hit the mark this month. Have found it a bit difficult with all the RL happening around me and the dreadful weather here as well. Oh well - onto March eh
