    Hi we are over six years from discharge and got a mortgage from the Yorkshire BS, it was on 85 percent loan to value, the house fell through but not because of mortgage and we are currently in the process of another mortgage from the nationwide,so there is hope

    Yorkshire b/s do not deal with brokers as far as I am aware.
    I think you made a similar thread under a different category which I replied to. You should have options, but one application being accepted with what appears to be similar circumstances, does not mean they all will. Better affordability, less debts/commitments/kids, longer employment history, better job prospects (ie professionals tend to score higher than non skilled jobs) can all affect how your application is scored.
