but it only falls on deaf ears if no one is prepared to do anything about it.....

so now is the time perhaps.

Does anyone have an objection about going back to a more rotating thread?

if you have...speak now .....and maybe we could start again for the 1st JAN....What does everyone think and should we ask Redfox or a mod to start it in order to preserve the current 1st post....

Rotating is fine - so long as we don't get squabbles again over whose turn it is.

I visit 4 small stores and find they all have different stock and different prices!

possible glitch on Duracell batteries in waitrose. probably have worked today (now its too late) but hopefully work tomorrow.

it says they are 2 for 1
it also says Save £3.65. Was £8.65 but the price states they are still £8.65

anyway i put 2 in online basket and they do go in at £5 and 2 for 1

    https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/duracell-ultra-power-aaa-batteries-alkaline/060713-30686-30687
Just bumping if anyone wants to test. I went to get some but my waitrose sold out. But they were marked as £5. Still going in online basket at b1g1 free

Apart from that loads of stuff 75% off in waitrose. I got a few Lindt packets for 50p and Cadbury honeycomb bars for 16p. Next years Christmas cards and paper. Also bags of good spuds 25p other veg also reduced. All looked like it would last a while.
  • Can someone confirm whether Alcatel U5 is ok for the Droid envelope thing? Thinking of getting it on C&C with the 20% off eBay. :-)

A list online says no NFC but Argos listing shows NFC don't want to buy the wrong one... AGAIN :/
  • ive just sent my lenovo laptop back ive only had it a year and it wont charge or power on so i would be wary pf lenovo i think its a common problem with there laptops
