Leaving site is almost impossible for them to prove in court, especially for a fraudster such as UKPC, read this.

AFAIAA, no PPC has ever won a court claim for leaving site.
You must appeal, it costs them money. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Lakeside Village Outlet. Spoke to management. Basically said the PPC operate on match days (DRFC next door), if you haven't got a child seat in the back then likelihood is they'll ticket you. She said the driver should have got a receipt as evidence otherwise nothing they can do. They wouldn't have helped either way - just directing everything to the PPC.0

Yeah, I've seen this link before. There doesn't appear to be any time limit though, it's purely if attendant has 'reasonable cause' to believe a driver has left the site. Shocked at the attitude of the outlet.0

boo?
If you can post what you said, and who you spoke to, then it will help In giving an idea for a suitable response.
You need to say,or to be more precise email/write the right things, otherwise they will fob you off with a nothing to do with us, we contract our parking management out, you need to deal with the parking company type reply.
even if you are at that stage its not to late , but without knowing what you said assistance on this is nigh on impossible. From the Plain Language Commission:

You need to respond and complain more: A person with a child would not necessarily have a child seat in the back, e.g. if the child seat converts into a buggy chassis or if they just put the baby seat in/on a suitable large trolley.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I said that I wished to speak to someone about a parking ticket and that's when she immediately referred me to the PPC. I tried explaining that I wasn't prepared to recognise the validity of the PCN and how it had been given but she didn't really want to know. I've checked the 'newbie' thread and there isn't really a process for dealing with the retail/land owner. I may go back to them and complain again but this time I'll definitely do it in writing rather than via telephone.0
