Doing the London Marathon too next week
Good luck Barny. Hope you have a good run! Do you have a target in mind?
I've just been looking through all of the people I know that are doing it and I am the only person I know in my starting area.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

Welcome. For this year, I am focusing more on a healthy diet, and instead of running, I am emphasizing on Brisk Walking and workouts.0

London Marathon done yesterday, first ever marathon and little training, and narrowly missed out on a sub-6 hours time by less than 30 secs, very happy with that!0

Well done Barny.Spend less now, work less later.0

Definitely been flagging this month (though in my defence, Runkeeper lost several of my walks as it get very upset when I explored some caves during my walks/hikes on holiday!).
Up to a total 193.4 miles for the year. I'm aiming for a total of 1000 miles in the year, and have just registered for a local 10k run in October to give me something to train towards as I'd like to start running again. Fingers crossed, that will help speed up my progress somewhat!!MFW2023 challenge #99: £1090.11 / £1,000 MFiT-T6 (Jan 2022 - Jan 2025) challenge #99: Reduce mortgage to £400,000.
